As promised, here's a quick tutorial on how to make your own fabric labels.
a beautiful fabric label can add the perfect finishing touch to your creation...
here's what you need; iron on transfer paper ( you can easily get it at your local stationary store)
First thing you need to do is design your label using any creative software.
Once you've done your label design, remember to flip the image
or select mirror image from your inkjet printer settings
Test print your design on plain paper to make sure the images/texts are flipped (optional step)
The next step is to iron transfer onto fabric.
Now get out your cotton fabric or you can also use bias tape
Place transfer paper with printed image facing down onto fabric.
Iron the transfer, use enough overlapping passes to cover the image entirely
After ironing, allow your fabric to cool down for at least 2 minutes.
Then, peel smoothly so the carrier sheet does not tear.
If the image begins lifting, that means you haven't applied enough pressure and heat--re iron the image
cut out the fabric and now its READY to be used onto your creations
we should proudly display the label on all products that we make -_-
if you try this do let me know, I'd love to see how it turns out!
Enjoy your weekend!!
